The Story
On the Siren, the Ribbon and the Tube the frosted glass is the shade and this is the globe that lives inside it. Get the globe shape wrong and the shade lights unevenly, which you notice immediately and cannot unsee.
2200K is the point of it. Closer to a candle than to a kitchen ceiling, so a timber base and a frosted shade read as a warm object on the sideboard rather than a light fitting doing a job. Most globes sold as warm sit at 2700K or 3000K, which looks fine at midday and wrong at nine at night.
Warm filament styling in a C35 candle shape on a standard E27 screw base. The narrow candle profile is what lets the frosted glass fill evenly instead of throwing a hot spot at one side. Four watts each for 300 lumens, no visible flicker, around 20,000 hours. Two to a pack.

One thing worth knowing: these are not dimmable. The warmth is built into the globe rather than dialled in, so it lands at the same soft level every time and never drifts cold at the top of a dimmer range.

Are Dennis Did It products safe and reliable for everyday use?

If you’re comparing lighting elsewhere, we always recommend checking that products are certified for Australian standards, carry the RCM mark, and are registered with the national EESS. Not all lighting is tested or approved to the same level. Make sure to shop safe.
Each design is assessed for heat management, stability, insulation, and durability, then batch-inspected before shipping. We are a registered Australian responsible supplier, import and warehouse locally from Melbourne, and support every order with Australian product liability insurance, a 12-month warranty, and a clear 30-day returns policy.

How fast is delivery and what does shipping cost?
We ship quickly from our Melbourne warehouse, with same-day dispatch on orders placed before 10 AM and next-day dispatch on orders placed after.
Most customers in Melbourne and Sydney metro receive their order within 1-2 business days after dispatch using Australia Post. Regular shipping is $10 Australia-wide, with free regular shipping on orders over $100. Express shipping is available for $25 on eligible items.

If something arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll send a replacement and cover the return shipping. And if your purchase isn’t right for your space, our 30-day returns policy makes it easy to send it back.
