Are your lamps easy to assemble or install?
Most of our lamps come ready to glow. No tools, no fuss. For those that require a quick setup, we include simple instructions, and we’re here if you need support.
Are your lamps dimmable or touch-operated?
Yes! Our Mushie Lamps and Portable Metal Lamps feature touch control with multiple dimming levels. They're designed to adapt to your mood, from a soft evening glow to a brighter setting for reading or working.
What type of lighting is best for creating a warm, cosy atmosphere?
Our lamps are designed to do just that. From rice paper lamps with a soft ambient glow to touch-sensitive bedside lights, we focus on warm tones and gentle illumination that make your home feel inviting, relaxed, and lived-in.
Do your lamps come with globes?
Yes! All of our lamps come with a complimentary light globe. No more of those pesky Bunnings trips only to come home and realise you bought the wrong freakin' one anyway. We've been on the hunt for the ultimate warm glow for a looooonnngg time and trialed hundreds of globes in the process. Unable to find the perfect solution we have had these bad boys custom made just for Dennis. It is an LED globe at 2200K. To put that into perspective: A candle burns at around 2000k. 🕯 Dennis globes run at 2200k. 🔥 Daylight is around 5500k. 🌞 These baddies are warm like a toasty fireplace
Are Dennis Did It products safe and reliable for everyday use?
We design and manufacture for Australian homes, then prove it through independent testing and responsible supply. Safety is not a feature, it is the foundation.
Every Dennis Did It lamp is independently tested to the IEC 60598 safety standard, certified by an accredited Australian certifier, and registered in the national Electrical Equipment Safety System. Our products carry the RCM mark, are designed specifically for Australian mains power, and use Class II double insulation for safe indoor use.
If you’re comparing lighting elsewhere, we always recommend checking that products are certified for Australian standards, carry the RCM mark, and are registered with the national EESS. Not all lighting is tested or approved to the same level. Make sure to shop safe.
Each design is assessed for heat management, stability, insulation, and durability, then batch-inspected before shipping. We are a registered Australian responsible supplier, import and warehouse locally from Melbourne, and support every order with Australian product liability insurance, a 12-month warranty, and a clear 30-day returns policy.

How fast is delivery and what does shipping cost?
We ship quickly from our Melbourne warehouse, with same-day dispatch on orders placed before 10 AM and next-day dispatch on orders placed after.
Most customers in Melbourne and Sydney metro receive their order within 1-2 business days after dispatch using Australia Post. Regular shipping is $10 Australia-wide, with free regular shipping on orders over $100. Express shipping is available for $25 on eligible items.

If something arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll send a replacement and cover the return shipping. And if your purchase isn’t right for your space, our 30-day returns policy makes it easy to send it back.
What if my purchase doesn’t feel right for my space?
We want you to love how your home feels. If a piece doesn’t suit your space, you can return it within 30 days of delivery using our easy, automated returns process.
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll replace it at no cost and cover the return shipping. For change of mind returns, a small restocking fee and return shipping apply, and everything is handled clearly through our returns portal.
