Classic Lighting Elements —
Soft lighting plays a crucial role in creating an inviting cosy atmosphere. Lianna used a mix of natural afternoon light and table lamps to achieve the perfect ambiance. The centrepiece was a white statement lamp that provided soft, warm light, while not distracting from the gorgeous desserts.
Tips for Lighting —
To recreate this look at home, consider using our dimmable Portable Metal Touch Lamp as your centrepiece, complemented by a statement lamp with soft, warm bulbs on the side table. Sweet Desserts for a Vibrant Dinner Party
Dessert Recipe —
No dinner party or sweet supper club is complete without a selection of sweet treats. Here is the perfect dessert recipe that is sure to impress your guests:
Mini Tiramisu Cups —
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup thickened cream
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1/4 cup caster sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 lady finger biscuits
- ⅔ cups of espresso
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- Instructions:
- Beat the thickened cream into soft peaks with an electric mixer.
- Combine the mascarpone cheese, sugar and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- Gently fold the mascarpone mixture into thickened cream
- Break lady fingers biscuits into halves
- Pour espresso into a shallow bowl. Quickly dip biscuits into the liquid and place into four serving dishes.
- Top the serving dishes with the cream mixture. Even out with a spatula.
- Place in the fridge to set for a minimum of 2 hours and up to 48 hours.
- Dust heavily with cocoa powder right before serving.
